THE DREAM

Mr E Kellie; Growing up as a child, I remembered seeing my parents helping young people in the community in various ways, especially the less fortunate children. Based on that, I then decided to carry on their legacy they’ve left in remembrance of them. FC Kellie was then created, registered and certified by WAFA & SLAFA GOVERNING BODY FROM SIERRA LEONE (2007/2008). Since then More than thousands of young people have participated in the project. In many parts of the world sporting activities, especially football, are now being incorporated into a variety of programmes geared towards helping youth address a broad range of issues affecting their lives. These include children’s rights & education, health promotion, peace promotion, anti-discrimination & social integration, and the environment.

Kellie FC was now created in 2007/08 as a vehicle to help impart the skills needed by the next generation to overcome the many challenges faced by the country, from poverty to low educational access via football.

What I strongly believe in is, By creating a space for gathering we can create social change through the power of football Working in community affairs in Freetown sierra Leone, particularly in the areas of youth support, has been my passion and privilege for many years.

We are looking for sponsors who are willing to donate any amount or equipment to assist in covering our major expenses such as field rental, officials, equipment, transportation, insurance, trophies and administrative cost.

One of the greatest feelings in the world is knowing that we as individual can make a difference.
